The refined 1910 Cadillac Model Thirty was equipment with a Delco ignition system. Supplied to Cadillac by Charles F. Kettering's Dayton Engineering Laboratories Co., The new Delco ignition was used in conjunction with a coventional magneto. True selfstarting was still two years away. At long last, a pair of acetylene headlights and gas generator were made standard equipment on all Cadillacs. Also standard now a pair of side oil lamps, a tail lamp, horn, a set of basic tools, a tire pump, tire repair kit and tire holder. Model Thirty base prices were incrased from US $ 1.400 the previous year to US $ 1.600 in 1910. The standard 1910 Cadillac Model Thirty line-up included a sporty two seat roadster which was officially destignated the "Gentleman's Roadster"; a four-passenger demi-tonneau, wich could be quickly converted to a two-seat runabout simply by detatching and removing the entire rear body; a populair five-passenger touring car and all-new Model Thirty Limousine.Late in the year, an inside-drive coupe was added to the line.
